Performance Transparencie by Lala Nomada and Niña Yhared
“Transparencies” is a project of the Mexican artists Lala Nomada (Gabriela Aldrete) and Niña Yhared, a cooperation work of performance art, in which installations will be produced and transformed during the two chapters of it. This work is the result of an intense communication process through different cities and sometimes continents. The common interest in fluid materials and specific colours will produce a live art piece in which the public won’t be just viewer but also feel part of it, playing an important role in the progress of the evening

Concept: "Felt memory of time through body"
Memory plays a very important role in the time and society we are living in. Is there a necessary connection between memory and time? What exactly could this connection be? Through our body we experience time and it is our body that 'stores' memories. Every cell of the body holds a record of time that has passed. The constant movement of death and birth within our cells creates the map of textures, scars and colors that we call our bodies. This is a performance to play with these questions. Through dance and live music we express our thoughts by exploring two main concepts: the connection or disconnection between memory and time and the expression of memory through our body.
This performance offers a possibility to experience this theme and share different people's pasts. A space in the present where the past is just around the corner, a place where memory and perception meet in a timeless atmosphere.
Concept creation and direction: Irene Cortina González, in collaboration with Dino Spiri.

Everybody is tied or locked up to many attitudes and most of them are not even realized. Because we were taught in our childhood, what should or should not be done and thus many behavioural patterns have been solidified and considered to be right without any periodical re-evaluations. Why not take a different track on your way to the metro-station, so as to discover something new? Or maybe soup from a wine glass tastes better than from a soup bowl? Can we gain a new insight by doing so?

"I do not want to know where I come from, who I am, where I will go to." Heiner Müller
Heiner Müller´s quotation of the upcoming third performance-presentation at SAVVY Contemporary describes the constitution of an identity without the consideration of the past or future. It is more a single person´s examination of his or her environment and person expressed in a very indiviual way in the form of a dance-performance.

„The thought, that my corpse will outlive myself, is creating a special relationship between me and my body“. Simone de Beauvoir
Simone de Beauvoir, one of the leading masterminds of the European feminist movement, was born on the 9th of January 1908 in Paris. She studied philosophy at the Sorbonne University and travelled around Europe, North Africa and later on around America. Her storytelling, dramatic and essayistic works are deeply influenced by her dialectic-material and existential ideology. „I wanted to make myself existing for others by telling them in a very direct way how I see my own life. I succeed in that: I got some real enemies, but I found within my readers also some very good friends. That was exactly what I was hoping for“. Simone de Beauvoir died on the 14th of April 1986 in Paris.
Two groups of performance artists have been working on this quotation by Simone de Beauvoir and will show their results in the form of a performance presentation.

Conzept of the Performance Art at Savvy Contemporary
The basic for the work are two performer or performing groups, a quotation of an artistic, philosophic or historic personality. On this basic the artists will creat a performance of 30 minutes. The working process will then translate ideas and opinions of people in a performance. The process of the performance is above all in the foreground of the idea "art as mirror of our time and society", regarding perspectives of the past that can be involved in the performance in a creativ way. Another aspect is to bring artists with different styles and background together.
