Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung, PhD

Founder and art director of the art space SAVVY Contemporary Berlin. He is the initiator and editor-in-chief of the journal SAVVY|art.contemporary.african. He has been the curator of several international exhibitions and has published corresponding catalogues. He studied and earned a PhD in food biotechnology, medical biotechnology and Biophysics in Berlin, York und Montpellier. www.soh-bonny.com

Management and Public Relations

Claudia Lamas Cornejo, M.A.

Responsible for management and public relations at the art space SAVVY Contemporay since January 2010. She lives and works as a freelance cultural manager in Berlin. She successfully completed a Bachelor degree in Romanic Philology and Intercultural Communications at the universities of Bayreuth and Athens, as well as a Master programm in Arts and Media Administration at the Freie Universität Berlin.

 

Curators of Performing Arts

Cilgia Carla Gadola

Cilgia Carla Gadola curates the Performance Series at Savvy Contemporary. She is trained as a dancer and currently studies Theater Sciences as well as Journalism and Communications Sciences. She works in different cultural institutions a.o. as a direction and production assistant. Cilgia ist co-founder of and employee at tanzpresse.de.

Raisa Kröger

Raisa Kröger curates the Performance Series at Savvy Contemporary. She works as a dancer, teacher and choreographer and currently studies cultural studies at the FernUniversität Hagen. Raisa is part of Deck3 – a workspace and collective platform connecting creative disciplines in the field of dance and the performaning arts.

Curator of the Music Performances

Robert Würz, Musician

Robert Würz is a freelance musician residing in Berlin since 2006. His musical field of activity includes free improvisation, classic, jazz and composition. He studied saxophone – jazz/rock/pop in Dresden and he composes for theatre and small ensembles. He is the leader of the concert-series at SAVVY Contemporary.

 

Editorial

Ioana Muntenescu B.A.

Ioana Muntenescu is editorial journalist at SAVVY since April 2011. She studied journalism and communication in Bucharest (BA.), where she also took her Master in Visual Arts. She is currently doing her second Master at the FU Berlin, studying art history with a focus on Africa. She is a freelance cultural journalist and photographer, with various exhibitions in Bucharest and Berlin.
