Des Pierres, Une Branche Et Des Feuilles

Every beginning is an end, and every end unfolds with new paths. At the end of his three-months long residency at  SAVVY Contemporary, and a day after the opening of  THE SOIL IS AN INSCRIBED BODY in which he shows a new installation, Hervé Yamguen initiates a dialogue grounded on haphazard encounters with the artist Reto Pulfer. Across sound, voice, branches and stones, these two agropoets create a lyrical and sonic presence through a conversation with instruments, objects, language, and organisms, thus rendering vibrant and resonant living matter.

Hervé's residency of three months takes place within our EU-wide collaboration "4Cs: From Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture".
