Getting Granular:
Pathways To Agro–poetics

Getting Granular: Pathways to Agropoetics is summer reading group that engages in a slow investigation into soil politics and agropoetics in the framework of our project SOIL IS AN INSCRIBED BODY. Throughout the summer we think with soil as a body and literal ground to root conversations in-between multiple sites and agro-ecological initiatives in and near Berlin. The reading group explores agro-ecological practices as forms of care and embodied politics of resilience, resistance and rehabilitation. Learning from how different initiatives are ‘holding their ground’, we read a selection of texts that interrogate what working with cultivation on various scales means in times of violent planetary collapse of ecosystems and life worlds.
