Nuevos Territorios

Eli Wewentxu & Sharon Mercado Nogales' work NUEVOS TERRITORIOS is on view in our current exhibition 4 + 3 = 1 and will be activated on 11.08.2022: Nuevos Territorios is a dialogue around cultural heritage, mainly focused on the organisation of the agricultural cycle of the Andes and Wallmapu within which the artists create a space to share two symbols, the Chacana and the Kultrun. They intervene in public spaces by drawing them on the ground with charcoal and salt. They map a new territory, an ephemeral territory that they inhabit with their dance and bodies, claiming and questioning their presence in White Europe.
